A flying club based at Fife Airport (EGPJ), Glenrothes
Edinburgh and Fife Aero Club (EFAC) was formed in 1984 under the original name of Fife Aero Club, and latterly Fife Flying Club. EFAC is based at Fife Airport (EGPJ), an unlicensed airfield near Glenrothes, which is ideally positioned for quick and easy access to some of the most attractive scenery in the UK, much of which is uncontrolled airspace.
The club has over 180 active members and a busy calendar of events that caters for the diverse interests of its members.
There’s always something going on around the airfield and we particularly welcome visiting pilots who wish to either drop in for a quick visit, or stay for a few days and enjoy a short holiday in Fife.

The next club night will be a talk by LAA Inspector Sandy Hutton. Sandy will brief us on permit aircraft maintenance and modifications – what owners can and cannot do and the administration of the system.
